Nga Pepeha

We are completing our pepeha and learning to post them on our blogs.  Have a look!

The students who learned to blog with Mrs Hyde are passing on their skills to the rest of the class.

So what is a blog - tuhi ipurangi?

Why do we blog?

This year, a big part of our digital literacy programme will be sharing our learning with our community through a class blog. We are going to explore the blogs of classes who are blogging. This way, we will be able to decide how we want to use our blog and what we want it to look like. We will also be able to start making connections with other classes all over the world.

Problem:

What are the features of a good blog?

Unpack by asking new questions:
What is a blog?
Who blogs?
What are features?
How will we find out?

Research tasks:

Kia ora! Welcome to our blog.  Mrs Hyde is starting us off so her posts will be in English.

When our teacher, Whaea Te Aroha, posts, she will use te reo Maori, the other official language of New Zealand .
